Workshop – Make Your Own Cylinder Table Lamp – 7th March 2026

Brindabella Farm Stay Retreat in association with Bev Nichol of 2 BlueWrens Bespoke Lampshades, Yass, will present a Make Your Own Cylinder Table Lamp workshop.

In this workshop Bev will guide you through the process of making a cylinder table lamp using your own fabric to suit your home decor.

Learn the skills necessary to create your own bespoke table lamp.   No previous experience is required.

All materials and tools (except your fabric) will be supplied on the day. 

Included in the kit will be a white metal ring set, PVC paper, tape, white lamp holder with birch feet, and a 3-metre white cord with inline switch.

When booking you will have a choice of making either a narrow and tall (20 cm diameter by 40cm tall) or a shorter and wider (25 cm diameter by 35cm tall) cylinder lampshade.

Fabrics required to bring must be a lightweight cotton – the weight of fabric used for patchwork.  This will enable you to make your shade with little difficulty.

Dimensions of fabric – 1m 20cm wide x 1metre in length.

Please bring your fabric ironed to the workshop. This will ensure the workshop commences on time.

Bev will have a selection of fabrics available to purchase prior to the workshop.
